Cliff Side in Greece

This day had to be one of my favorites in Greece, we were a few days in so we were settled and ready to venture out on our own. The coolest part about Santorini was that you could rent 4-wheelers for 45 euros a day and take them all over the island. Our hotel called the rental company and we met them in the lobby, did some paperwork, they showed us how to use it and we were off! Driving around and seeing the stunning sites with my new husband was probably the most amazing thing ever. We checked out a bunch of beaches, different road side shops, had a sea-side lunch complete with a waitress bringing us food and drinks to our lounge chairs and had a wonderful time. There is something about not having any plans and being able to see where the day takes you, we saw so many different sides to Santorini that we wouldn’t have seen if we were on a strict schedule. As we were driving back to our hotel we were trying to decide what to do for dinner, we look to our left and there was this beautiful restaurant (Panorama Restaurant) sitting on the edge of a cliff with ceiling to floor windows throughout the whole place! We dropped in and decided to put our name in for a reservation during sunset. We went back to the hotel and got cleaned up from a day of exploring and got ready for dinner. We jumped back on our 4-wheeler and we were off. Since we arrived a little early I decided to do a photoshoot on a cliff right near the restaurant! We were able to watch the sunset while drinking wine and eating one of our favorite appetizers, octopus! As we were taking it all in we saw a hot air balloon (in the photos below, behind me) take off, it was so magical! All in all, we had a wonderful day from sunrise to sunset and it is one we will never forget.
