The Holiday Season
I cannot believe Christmas is over! From being in Chicago the weekend before to spending my first Christmas at home in a long time I had such a wonderful holiday season with my husband and both of our families! Seeing Carson experience his first Christmas was so much fun and I am so excited for many more with the little man! As my birthday and the new year is quickly approaching I am making sure to get organized and ready to make it the most successful year yet. To do that I have been doing a lot of reflecting on 2017 – the positives, the negatives, the milestones and the personal achievements. Along with that, I am looking forward to what I want to accomplish and how I am going to go about doing that. There is so much hope and excitement at the beginning of a new year and I want to keep that momentum through the rest of the year making it the most successful one yet!
Outfit Details
I wore this look for my father-in-law’s surprise 60th birthday party in Chicago! I am always looking for ways to be casual but still cute and unique! This top is so fun with a bunch of different stripes of fabric on it, there are lace, velvet, and satin. It is so different than any tank I have seen, I love that it is a razorback and more of a tunic length! I decided to do a navy cardigan over it and I am so glad that I found this one, it has pockets and is a little bit oversized. It will go with so many other things so it is now a staple in my closet! This denim I am wearing is a favorite of mine, I love that it is a bit distressed. My favorite addition to this look is the flat maroon over the knee boots, it adds a pop to the look and finishes it perfectly! My tank, cardigan, and boots are all on sale and my denim is under $100! Links to purchase each piece are below! xo
