The Heart Wants What It Wants
Here we are…the last day of January. I keep hearing that this month has gone on for too long and everyone is ready for February. My mom and I were talking about this and don’t think that we should be wishing time away. After this month the whole year flies by in the blink of an eye, I try to remember this when I am wishing days away. In fact, when I was working jobs I did not love I would always say to myself “just get through this week, then I have 2 days to do what I want” or “once this meeting is over my week will go by quicker”. It made me realize that I never wanted to dread another day in my life and kept me motivated to continue following my dreams and create the life I wanted to live! I have made leaps and bounds since those days, I am still doing some things I have to do that I am not 100% passionate about but I have come so far and get to do what I love 90% of the time and that is a huge win in my eyes. My goal has been to wake up excited and inspired to do what I love and this month has really been just that! Jobs are coming my way and things are lining up faster than I could have ever wished for or imagined. I am so excited for the future for the first time in a long time. Moral of the story – continue to work on your passion while doing what you have to do to make a living and visualized exactly what you want and how to get it. In time, it will all begin to work out and make sense for you and your life.

Clearly, I have Valentine’s with my girlfriend’s plans but I have not made any plans with the hubby yet! We will probably do the typical dinner and a movie but I would love to hear any ideas in the comments below! Speaking of my hubby and Valentine’s Day – I have been dropping hints left and right about what I want (jewelry, of course).
