Everyone should have a good kimono in their closet, it is such an effortless addition to any outfit and can add such a pop to an otherwise boring outfit. I found this kimono duster on our honeymoon to Greece last summer and I am so happy I purchased it! We were on the last leg of our trip, walking around the city of Athens checking out the Acropolis and came across a street with shopping and restaurants. Steve wanted to try an authentic gyro and I wanted to check out the stores so it was a win, win! While he sat on a bench eating I explored a few stores and when I found this piece I knew I needed it, luckily it is very thin and didn’t take up too much space in my luggage! Fast forward to a few weeks ago when I was purging my closet and came across it, I had full on flashbacks of our trip and I got so sentimental! This piece of clothing suddenly means so much to me and will be something I hold on to forever, it can be worn so many different ways and it is so beautiful!
This tank top was the perfect layering piece to go with this kimono but besides that, it is a great closet addition in general! The lace detail on the top is cute and the material is so buttery soft! It comes in so many colors and prints it is on sale for under $20, I am definitely going to pick up a few other colors! The next time I wear it I will be pairing it was white pants, some fun statement earrings, and a denim jacket if needed!
Speaking of statement earrings, I decided to go crazy with this look! These are multi-colored beaded tassels with a diamond stud at the top and gold detailing, they go with everything and are not too heavy! When investing in statement earrings I like to go with something either neutral or very colorful because then you always have a pair that matches an outfit! These are on sale for $21 and a must have for this summer.
My denim is a basic dark wash and a go-to of mine, it is another closet staple that pays for itself with the number of times they are worn! They fit true to size and are under $100, I think I have two pairs because I love them so much.
Lastly, I just need to explain how amazing the Tory Burch Miller sandals are. I got this tan pair a few years ago and just recently purchased a black pair when there was a sale. These sandals match everything and are totally worth the (sale) price tag, they look so good on the foot and fit true to size. If you are looking to make a bigger purchase I would highly recommend investing in these!
Below are links to this full look besides the kimono but I have linked a few that I am loving right now at different price points!
Let me know what you think!
