I always get questions about the online store SheIn because people are hesitant to purchase from their site. I totally understand the hesitation so I decided to do a try on session on my Instagram stories (it will be saved to my highlights as well) to share 11 different sweaters and the details on the fit. I also thought it would be helpful to give some tips and tricks to shopping on their site:
1. Order in bulk – since the prices are so low I recommend purchasing a bunch of different pieces that catch your eye and returning what you don’t like. They do free shipping and returns so its hassle free.
2. Order two sizes – the sizing is all over the place so ordering your size and a size up or down depending on how the fit looks would ensure you get the right size the first time.
3. Leave time for shipping – if you are looking for an outfit last minute, this is not your place! It takes a week to a week and a half for me to get my items so just a heads up. I believe they have improved their shipping and there is rush shipping available but just keep your expectations at bay.
4. Check for reviews – if you like something and are not sure which size to get or if the quality is good then see if there are any reviews. They will be so helpful to figure out if you should try it out or not.
Everytime that I send them a ticket through their site they get right back to me and if I have a return I have always gotten refunded and they are great about sending emails and tracking everything. Keep in mind, this clothing is fast fashion pieces and more on the trendy side. You will probably wear them for one or two seasons and that’s it but for the most part, the quality is there overall. All the details of my try on are below with notes on the fit of each item, I also purchased some flats and earrings too!
If you do decide to place an order don’t forget to use one of the below coupon codes depending on how much you are spending:
$5 off $59 with code: AXW5
$10 off $89 with code: AXW10
$30 off $169 with code: AXW30
Below are the photos of each piece on me!
Click the photos below to get all the details and to purchase the item! I would love to hear what you thought about this try-on and blog post idea in the comments below! Should I do things like this more often?!
